“The Lord will supply your needs, not your greeds.” Have you ever heard that phrase? It’s funny, profound, and true.
Last night my husband and I were talking about finances. He mentioned that we always seem to be struggling to make ends meet, and wondered if that was really the case. Are we just bad at communicating about money matters, or are we truly living paycheck to paycheck? So we broke it down into facts. I make pretty decent money for my profession. He makes decent money for his. We do have some pretty high bills to pay every month, then there’s gas for both vehicles, feeding our animals and putting food on our own table. And of course, thithing first and foremost, before anything else. Even though it seems like our paychecks are gone before we even earn them, and we don’t really have much of anything left over, the fact of the matter is, God has met our needs. If there comes a time when we need extra funds to pay for repairs to something, the Lord will provide. It’s that simple. If you’re worried about your finances. Break it down and see if it’s really worth worrying about. If it is, then it’s worth praying about. 🙏🏼
A scrap piece of wood, some wooden craft letters, a few hooks, a little paint, and some glue…and you’ve got yourself a really cute place to hang your keys! 😁👍🏼🔑 #dravenrockhomestead #keyholder #diyhomedecor #woodworking #crafts #crafting #diycrafts #farmhouse #farmhousedecor
When you need a quick and easy storage option for your yard tools and you can’t afford to buy anything. If you have an old pallet laying around, turn it on its side and use that. Easy peasy! #dravenrockhomestead #growingfreedom #gardeing #garageorganization #yardtoolstorage #woodworking #emprovising #usewhatyouhave #upcycle #fromtrashtotreasure
I found this design online somewhere, last year, and as expensive as wood was last year, I threw caution to the wind and spent the money to build it to use in our garden. I am happy to report it did wonderfully last year, and grew A LOT of veggies without taking up a lot of space in our garden. It’s still standing this year and we can’t wait to put it to use again. In fact….I might just build another one. 😉 #dravenrockhomestead #bucketgarden #freedomgardening #growyourownfood #buildyourown #woodworking #amaturewoodworker
